Forgive me for the silly question and my ignorance, but is the tax submission deadline
for the 2007 feb - 2008 feb tax year?

the whole Tax process just confuses me. I need to read up on it or something.

Also took ages on mine.

Eventually got it this week - assessment is dated 10/11/2008. No explanation.
And I have to pay in.... And it was due 1/1/2009

They paid me 2 days after I filed

Last year via e-filing I was paid out quickly but this year there was a problem with some info in the populated PDF so I had to go to SARS to submit it manually (not allowed to change that specific info online) in Oct '08. It was finalised last week so it can take a while if you're doing it manually.
