Well, I am lucky to live in DA territory. We in Cape Town have no probs with SARS. They are extremely efficient here. No BEE as they employ the best brains and not colour.

I do my tax return online (for the past 4 years or so). I Can't really say whether the person processing it is pink, blue, yellow or grey

This happens in all countries, Marco. The department that must fill the state coffers, is always the most efficient of all departments. Since all governments need tax money to function, this is 100% normal and to be expected.

The issue of race that you bring into the debate is inherently rooted in your own prejudice.

SARS is the most effective gov dept simply because it brings in the lions share of the capital to fund the government of the day. Even the ANC are astute enough to realize that.
