Did they bother to check Afrigator? Obviously not - even though Afrigator has consistently demonstrated a better approach to indexing the african blogosphere.

This is another prime example of MSM journalists not doing enough research - it clearly demonstrates a lack of understanding in these matters.

Now that list is far more representative of the popular blogs in South Africa. You'll notice that a lot of SA Blog Award winners are on there too - another measure of actual popularity.

So yes, do check your stats. Even better would be to stop with all the "top 10 this and that" lists - we all know how to find the numbers ourselves.
