Why do you use two load-shedding apps? I use Eskom se Push, but it has betrayed me on occasion. Is Load Shedding Notifier better?

EskomSePush only gets a 3.5/5 rating, but Load Shedding notifier should be there with a 4.5.

I got sidetracked (below) replying to Totempole's endorsement of Load Shedding Notifier.

I actually wanted to ask if the SnapScan app insists on storing the card's CCV/CVV number.

EskomSePush only gets a 3.5/5 rating, but Load Shedding notifier should be there with a 4.5.

I tried the other one a long time back and it was kark at the time, have there been major improvements in the last year or so?

Maybe it depends on the province/municipality that you're in as to which app works better (I use EskomSePush for ShittyPowowalessness in Jhb).

I certainly don't endorse either one of them. Was just going by Google Play store ratings as the MyBB article was.

For Loadshedding I still just use a print out of the loadshedding chart, and the City of Cape Town website.

Never used either of the two apps.

The only thing a printout of ShittyPowowalessness' loadshitting schedules would be useful for in CoJ is burning or a poor substitute for 2 ply because the schedules here don't make sense (at least not in my area).

The times when I don't have CoJ loadshitting probably coincides with the infrequent bowel movements of the constipated CoJ employee that comes up with "the schedule".

Apart from that EskomSePush has been very accurate, almost 100%.

Sorry for the late reply, I used the Notifier app, but it was crap. The UI was very confusing, and mostly not working, (think my phone has to do with it) but I'm sure that has changed since I last used it? Been using ESP for a while now.
