Hi everyone

I have been looking around for a satellite internet connection, I need a connection that will work out in the sticks on farms and that has serious bandwidth capacity. I know of Yahclick, but was wondering if anyone knew of any other options?

Thanks in advance

Hi guys,

I'm also seriously looking into a Satellite internet connection for my business run from a farm. Currently I'm using Vodacom 3G and their 20GB (R999) data bundles, but the problem is the reliability of the connection and every end of the month I'm without internet for at least 2 days for some reason. I already have 2x 11 dBi directional antennas, so there is no way my reception can be improved further without Vodacom improving their coverage.

The Professional package on http://www.maxconnection.co.za looks like a good deal to me and the costs of the hardware are very reasonable as well compared to what my current industrial grade 3G equipment (Sierra Wireless GX440 + 2x antennas) cost.

Does anyone have suggestions as far as satellite internet is concerned or experience with Maxconnect or similar service providers?
