Hi guys - can anyone shed some light on Satrix execution when actually selling their ETFs?

I'm trying to sell at current market value, however, I get quoted 10% lower unit prices than what is shown as the current value. That does not make any sense. Show a profit of 10%, but the actual sell price is 10% lower? Price quoted when trying to sell does not reflect price on Friday, the day before or the day before that.

Perhaps it's because its the weekend and will get a better idea on Monday - not sure at this stage - any advice would be helpful, many thanks!

Monday is a public holiday, so wait until at least 10am on Tuesday.

This can also be the difference between the bid and ask price. Sometimes these spreads are not 1 rand but high

Satrix were completely clueless when I was selling my holdings a few years back - Thank goodness I got out when I did.

The “broker” side of Satrix was terrible indeed , not the product itself.

Fortunately now replaced with Easy Equities.

I still have R800 odd magically missing when they transferred my stuff which I just gave up on because I couldn’t bother to deal with them any more.

I moved recently my full EFT funds from Satrix now to EE. Quick, cheap to move and all the fund amount matches on both side.

Sorry to hear about your R800 missing
