I pull locally via HomeAssistant over wifi.Have you done this ?
I thought the Synsynk uses 4 wire Rs485 not 2wire?
Can be done though, on the Sunsynk RS485 (via RJ45) Pin 7 is A, Pin 8 is B

Using Solarman you can use a HA integration to bring yhe data in. You can also get the Solar Assistant and that also allows data into HA over WiFiHow do you do it over WiFi?
With Solarman? Or the new Sunsynk dongle?
I was planning to use the integration you linked previously but it all seemed very cable only.
I don’t think it can. I’ve portscanned it and nothing is open for anything to talk to it except Port 80 with a config page. It’s expecting to be able to reach SunSynks servers where it seems to just send all data and sync config changes. Unless there’s an api on that port I’m missing…Using Solarman you can use a HA integration to bring yhe data in. You can also get the Solar Assistant and that also allows data into HA over WiFi
I'm not sure how the Sunsynk dongle would connect into HA
Older dongle. Read my link, i talk about it.How do you do it over WiFi?

If you're really going to pull more data, probably makes sense to put a Pi there and connect that up.Yeah seems with the newer adaptor it’s cable all the way.
Not really a problem as I’m running Ethernet to it anyway, will just run a second one.
Was just making sure there’s no way with the Sunsynk Dongle to go direct.
Are they doing the install? Did they say how long it will take? Apparently CPT does get more solar hours then we do up here on the highveld![]()

I don't honestly think its vital though.
Epic!

Ah cool, I take it they going to do the panels at the same time as someone is going to do the inverter? As the inverter seems to take a day by itself.2-3 days planned for the install.
I'm going off memory as I wasn't really too fussed but I think it was...Ah cool, I take it they going to do the panels at the same time as someone is going to do the inverter? As the inverter seems to take a day by itself.

I'd budget another 1/2 day or so for a later visit to resolve small issuesI'm going off memory as I wasn't really too fussed but I think it was...
Day 1 the Panels get started.
Day 2 Panels get finished and wiring run + Inverter and batteries get installed.
Day 3 Wiring completed and commissioned.
The vibe I got was that they pretty much expect to be done in two days and just do commissioning on the third day, but it's there for rollover in case of any issues.
