Save loads of Bandwidth

Lol. Damn. You know things are bad when guys have to disable loading images to save bandwidth!

Well not really a trick or something, but disabling images from loading in FireFox saves a lot of bandwidth.

What if the images are the reason why I am using a lot of bandwidth in the first place???:p

I remember doing that in the early 90's as my 33.6 modem was too damn freaking slow, good old time, no cap, not that it meant anything as it took a whole day to download stuff.

How sad is this, we have ADSL but should disable images.. Only in SA

1. Blocking add servers with Adblock or whatever helps, but blocking images altogether is overkill.

2. Roman is over the hill lol. It's not that old, 1991

Hey, those were the days ... the only commercial ISP, Internet Solution (then just Ronnie, Tom & Andras) had 256Kbps of total local/intl bw. We was pumpin' with gopher & ftp.

I disabled images in Internet Explorer.

I use Firefox.

I hope it helps.

:D

I block all ads with the HOSTS file + disable images in FireFox and Opera :D

I remember using gopher during my Tech days. But FTP was the thing.. 'working late' in the computer labs doing 'research'...
