I am net to windows DNS..

I am looking to have a web address resolve to a local server when my staff ar in the office..

I.e. crm.system.com(real internet Ip) when you are not in the office.. if you are on our office it must resolve to the local mirror (IP).. can I do this with a hardcaoded forward lookup in the dns ?

excuse the jumbled It terms..

Not too difficult to do:
1) Open the DNS Manager: Start -> Programs -> Administrative Tools -> DNS
2) Expand Tree Server -> Forward Lookup Zones
3) Create new Primary FLZ system.com
4) Create Host (A) record in the new FLZ with name crm and IP of local mirror
5) Right-click on Server and "Clear DNS Cache" and maybe restart the DNS service.
