I exist only in my own mind ...
If you want to connect to a shared fax on a SBS 2003 from a Windows 7 machine, instead of specifying \\sbs2003\fax-share as the address, specify only \\sbs2003

If you include the \fax-share you will get an unhelpful error message; just as I did :)

Two things:-

1. How ever did you find this out

2. What ever made you post it to this forum...

Big up to you, anyway, you're a gentleman. At least, I assume, based on statistics, that you're a man. You're a good (and clever) person.

Now, on to the next unhelpful (now, there's a surprise, seeing as we're talking about Micro$oft) message, "The message could not be sent. Access is denied." Saw a t-shirt in the gym the other day: You never run out of things that can go wrong.

Oh, yeah.
