I installed a new PC to be used as a client with SBS and a new username, but for some reason it just keeps febbing me about the username password, but if i use a admin account it allows it.

Is there any setting that could cause that a user can't login but an administrator can?

/busy losing it slowly with sbs...

Hi Peder
You must authenticate against the server.

To do so, add the servername first to the login dialog, such as server\username

This will tell Windows to authenticate the user on the server instead of the local PC.

On the client PC, if you rclick on computer icon and choose properties, advanced system settings, computer name, network ID a wizard will take you through setting up the PC

i made the server add the computer as a client pc, with its little launcher. I also made it connect to the domain manually.

none of the two worked, maybe i should try this.
