Hey guys was just wondering if any1 from here got into the Sc beta
 
Just played for a bit. freaking cool game. its just like starcraft, with a few more little things. Other than that its pretty much the same hey. Graphics are cool... its a pity the unit vs building scale is completely off :( zealots are almost the size of a supply depot.
 
and a Ultralisk is the size of a base haha, this game is awesome though... heres my post from MyGaming:

If you are going to download and play against the AI make sure you always have the latest version... which is literally being updated every few hours.. Last night before I went to sleep we were on v5.1 and now we're on v5.5.. http://darkblizz.org/Forum2/ai-scrip...muve0hfblr51j4

The funny thing is that the official beta testers can only play against a very easy at the moment while the cracked crowds AI is actually quite impressive. I lost in a 1v1v1v1 after killing one of the pc players.

The cracked version isnt buggy at all..

#sc2c on Rizon IRC for all the latest updates as they happen..
#sc2 on SynIrc also for up to the second updates on cracking progress and new AI's
#starcraft2 on Shadowfire for our local SC2 community

i was surfing last night looking for links and damn they are getting removed as fast as they are being posted, but they guys are starting to link the files using weird filenames, very clever! :)
 
*sigh* screwing over the last bastion of pc gaming.

They should concentrate less on cracking the game, and more on making a virtual server for lan.
 
shot stebas, i only played against easy while i was looking at the units and gameplay. ill get the latest one tonight then :D
 
haha I lost my first game cos I was reading everything and looking at gfx! :P This game is SiiiiiiiicK cant wait to play against another human
 
I buckled and bought a beta key off ebay:-(game is awesome though
 
I got invited the other day! WEEOO :) man was I happy, only thing is though it seems like I'm going to have to play on an unshaped account or something since I lag quite a bit playing on battle.net :( Game absolutely kicks ass though hehe.
 
Still hoping i get an inv :( but anyway for you guys that got lucky and having latency issues you may want to try /battleping.com/
its in beta stage and 100% free atm i am using it in wow and works like a charm so gl with that ;)
 
I was reading the forums of professional gaming community website, www.teamliquid.com wtich confirmed few weeks ago that Blizzard initiated an "invite a friend" drive in the beta. Ie: If you have a legit beta key, you will get an email with another key that you can give to a friend (all presumable for the intention of testing battle.net 2.0's social features).

So, who wants to go watch a movie? On me? Beer? Sandwich? Gimme a PM. :D

SC2 beta keys - Making new friends since February
 
I just got my SC2 beta key today and have been playing. But I noticed I am on the US servers, but my friends are on the EU.
Does any 1 know if there is a way to change this, I think it is set by your battle.net account, but I have no idea why I would have a US one, and not an EU one.
Any 1 else have this issue? and what servers are you guys on?

Dude I just have to say thank you so much! This really helps a lot. I don't need to get an unshaped account anymore!

If there's anyone that got into the beta and is on EU maybe we can play a few games? I'm not very good though haha but I'm keen. :)
