Scam Solar Store Directory

I am not sure what would've given you that impression.
As above, Google maps search for 48 Falcon Lane, Lanseria shows a photograph of:

"WASHTECH
Leaders in Washing and Drying technology"
That is what gives me (and everybody else) that impression.

If what you are saying is true, then you should get Google to fix it.

We've reached out to Google several times to get the pin moved to the correct lovation. Sadly, this seems to take very long and Google aren't very helpful.

As we stated in the first reply on this forum, we would love you to come and visit our showroom to show you and anyone else who has doubts that we are very real, very competitively priced and very committed to getting the best solar products to South Africans at competitive prices.

Power to You

Hi Jezzad,
We'd also encourage you to pop in and visit us so that we can show you the showroom and introduce you to the team.

You can also read our customer reviews on Google and verify with them directly.
We can assure you 100% that we are not too good to be true, just working hard to bring great products at great prices to the South African Solar Market.

Power to You!

Erm Dude, this wasn't even about you .... seems a bit too defensive?

This is now bordering on illegal advertising.

@LiFeTIDE have you registered with @ic to advertise on MyBB?
Hi Ron and Landyman,

My co-worker was merely replying to reassure people on this forum that we are not a scam. Take note that we import our product offerings which does allow us to offer very competitive pricing. Regarding the amount of Google reviews, it does take time to get them but we are requesting reviews from every person that has an interaction with us, be it a quotation or sale. As a new business, we strive to provide great service and thus far clients feel we deserve 5 star's. Lifetide is part of the Generator King Group. I have included photos that I took a few minutes ago.

Regards Bradley Diedericks from Lifetide & Generator King

Who doesn't? And considering the rand weakness and volatility, that's hardly something that would bring prices down, because you would have to take forward cover in the event that a Russian cargo ships slip into Simonstown military base under the cover of darkness.

To clarify, I'm not complaining about low prices, but in all instances scam stores offer crazy pricing, it's their trade mark because it allows them to ensnare many victims.

Agreed, it isn't easy building a new business, but in any business, there has to be a mix of reviews. An instant red flag is a pattern of 4/5 fake 5 star reviews, followed by 4/5 1 star reviews, in which the sea cannot wash you clean. It's another known pattern for scammers.

Just make sure that you live up to the expectations that it creates, and make sure that you are worthy of 5 star service, everyday, so that your past clients' faith and trust in you isn't misplaced.

Hi Jezzad,

We are not connected to Retail Energy. We have however sent out our price lists to a number of resellers and installers with their own websites.

I cannot confirm if Retail Energy is a scam or not.

Ok my post was about Retail Energy so your comments are irrelevant and seems an opportunistic way of advertising.

Those look like legit Google reviews to me.
They may be, but they don't allow click through, one has to go to the trouble of manually verifying them. They also don't mention the retailer, so they could be for Gary's Glassblowing for all we know.

Good morning,

One is most definitely able to click on the profiles that have reviewed us. Most of them have also reviewed other businesses for your reference.

No, the profiles are not clickable. They are cut and paste images and not associated with any URL.

Properly implemented, it should allow click through directly to Google Reviews for verification and validation. Go and take a look at some sites that have it properly implemented.

They most definitely are - simply go to Google yourself (don't be lazy) and click away

Seriously, it's not cool dissing a legit business because you're too lazy to do a bit of research.

You are jumping to to conclusions. The ones at the bottom of the site are not, you're clearly too lazy to read properly:

They're an exact replica of what's in Google. THAT is where you go to verify Google reviews. Two birds, one stone - verify that the firm actually exists on Google Earth and that they have the reviews they say they do.

There are enough scammers out there for this thread to have a life of it's own. No need to add legit businesses to it - we could do with more legit businesses that respond to queries on MyBB.

You are clearly having trouble understanding, and I haven't got the time or the inclination to help you. Struggle on, you may get there some day.

Just tell the installer to do the job, when done pay the fekker.
No job No pay.
