Scammed by Coca Cola.......sort of

Haha same thing with mcdonalds and why they include the Coke Zero in the listing price. The moment you add any other non sugarfree drink they slap extra R2 if I recall correctly.

I protested when they tried that with me, and they apparently gave me regular coke without the R2 extra, but then again I couldn't be sure as the drinks fountain is now hidden behind a wall...so now I just don't order meals from McD's.

If you drink "spook en diesel" then, after the second drink you don't know the diff anyway.
And yes, this is another example of pseudo science and health experts just causing trouble. As if their sugar taxes are going to affect the obese population anyway.
But hey, we will be able to report a drop in obesity maybe. So what if we now have an increase in cancer instead? That is a problem for another bunch of pseudo health professionals to handle.

Ja, there are many examples of these fiddles around these days. From butter to margarine, cooldrinks, chocolates, bread scams, weetbix price tricks, dogfood packaging tricks, soap powder specials. I wonder how many were caught in one way or another yesterday on black Friday in the buying frenzy, and if they will ever know?

Happened to me twice already. And zero is vile, mildly drinkable when ice cold.

When I shop I have only 1 rule: what is the price per gram or per milliliter.

I never get caught. E.g. Wheatbix with their BS 5 different boxsizes and brick counts or whatever. Don't give a schit. I buy the box with the lowest price per 100gm, as that is the best value for money.

Yeah, I fell for this con once as well. Also their cans!

Now I pay close attention to the lids.

Only thing I could think of why they would do this is to try trick people into buying the substandard coke.
