Scammed by vps.co.za

Just want to chime in here an say that I'm actually quite happy with my vps from them. Haven't had any issues with it so I haven't had to contact their support though.

Will ask my friend to do that. Problem is, I paid with his paypal account as I do not have a credit card. I just EFT'd the money to him and he paid with his paypal account so that the payment is instant and easy.

All he needs to do is log the dispute, and they'll credit his account, he can just give you the cash onces its done - no loss to either of you.

Refund was just processed in my paypal account. Thanks to a forum member on another site for helping me get it sorted out. Looks like it was just a delay in their accounts department and I was being overly paranoid (Account logins are apparently disabled when your service is disabled, but the account still exists).

But still, would have been nice if they could have kept in touch as to what was going on. Anyways, glad it's over now.
 
VPS, ive used them once for about a month and will never recommend them to anyone, they cheap but not worth the service you get and the time you waste with them <- my rant and 2c done
