Yes I did. This is not the first article that I have read about her moaning about money, even though she is one of the richest women in Hollywood. She has been an activist for years already. Her whole approach has always been poor women this, poor women that, all to improve her own net worth. This court case is just the next step in her quest.

Before people go on and on without reading the article, Scarlett Johansson is not the only actor with this problem. As studios move to a streaming model (resulting in lower theatre earnings), contracts will have to be revised to reflect that. From the article:

"Rival studio Warner Bros was slammed last year for a similar decision to release all of its 2021 movies simultaneously in theaters and on its HBO Max platform.

Warner renegotiated many of its deals with stars and filmmakers, reportedly paying out $200 million to compensate for the loss of box office earnings."
