I was talking to a work colleague over coffee, then I suddenly lost thread of the conversation. I tried to pick it up again but it I couldn't.

Then a dizzy spell hit, like my whole body somewhat disconnects from everything and becomes lighter, this started and stopped about 3 times in succession.

It seems to have stopped now but scary man,

Any idea's?

A friend seems to think vertigo (I've had neck/spine pain for a while and apparently this can cause vertigo)

How is your blood pressure?
Have you been suffering from a lot of stress lately? Eating well? Did you perhaps skip breakfast?

Drop in blood pressure , but as a precaution get yourself checked out .
You dont want that to happen while doing something like driving .

Passed out about 3 weeks back and knocked myself up quite badly against concrete, I'd had a fair amount to drink but not enough to pass out whilst walking. Historically I had low blood pressure, all checks recently have been normal though.

I have been eating and drinking well

Some stress, but nothing that's out of this world

Hmm, I passed out this weekend from a coughing fit. Started coughing badly, woke up with my face on my keyboard.

Do you ever get slightly blurred vision?

If so = Blood sugar levels.

My sight doesn't blur but I just suddenly feel like KUK. Like someone hit the slow-mo button. Can of coke later and I'm super rocking.

No blurred vision, just a scary disconnection/ vertigo, blood pressure slightly high but that could just be because im stressing about being dizzy

if you say your BP is fine, ask your Dr for diabetes and epilepsy tests.

if both those come back clean you would require more extensive tests.

Though from what you say, I think the 2nd test I suggested might be the one.....

Head for your nearest chemist and asked them to check your blood pressure and blood/sugar levels. Normally free...

If they pick up any issues then get to your doctor asap.

That's probably a concussion

^^This. The causes can be wide spread, from blood sugar, sudden drop in blood pressure, mini-stroke etc. But normally, sugar or blood pressure.
