Scary dizzy spell

Don't rule out a spider bite.

I almost passed out in the shower the one morning, was feeling 100% before that. Got to the doc, and after checking all the common things like BP etc. he asked if I had any "funny" bite marks that might look like a mozzie bite.

After looking for a few minutes i discovered a bite mark on my upper leg. Never even noticed I got bitten before that.

You might also have Meniere's.

I started having similar symptoms to those you're describing last year. Doc prescribed some anti Meniere's medicine which I had to take 2 scripts' worth of before the symptoms cleared up.

Dr checked pressure/sugar/ balance all were fine. Then scheduled me for a brain scan with a neurologist. Seems like a big first leap

I've had neck/spine pain for a while

could be checking for Vertebrobasilar insufficiency

decreased blood flow in the back of the brain, which may be caused by the blood vessels that lead to the brain from the heart being blocked (known as atherosclerosis)

Vertigo.
Do you have lots of stress and a lack of sleep?

Go to a doc to get basic check up.

If it only happened once - ignore the below.

If its happened a couple of times, and feels like you in a washing machine that wont stop could be middle ear infection - you wont feel ear pain with this though.

Could be that your blood sugar levels are dropping too low. That could have happened if you had whiskey and soda, or beer. If you say a can of coke makes you feel better it means you have to lift your blood sugar levels to feel normal.
