Schabir Shaik arrested

probably just for questioning with regards to the assault (alleged) ....

No it is not for questioning - it is a punitive measure as indicated by the DCS.

There is no need to imprison someone in order to question them - that can be done at any SAPS service station.

That is the way I understand it.

This is just a circus, we haven't seen pictures of him being arrested or in prison. If he is arrested let him rot in prison. Now spill the beans on the Pres Shaik, I am daring you!

“They are taking me to prison,” The Daily News quoted Shaik as saying in a dramatic cellphone call during a meeting with Correctional Services officials on Monday morning.

Shortly after being highly distraught on the phone, he reportedly was photographed being driven out of his Morningside home in a Correctional Services vehicle, with a prison official driving and another sitting next to him in the back.

How very sad.

NOT !

Well, this is turning out to be a great Monday, despite having taken two hours to get to work today.

You just have to love the way the media reports on famous (infamous?!) people, as if they are so much more fragile than the rest of us ... in any article, they are always referred to as being "distraught", "desperate", "highly strung", "traumatised", or "stunned".

The rest of us? We just get on with it :)

Cannot agree more :)

Shaik, Gupta.. And now in print; on the lines of 'Art of War' - "Art of Diversion" inspired by other beneficiary of symbiotic relationship.
