Other than a higher spec Samsung Galaxy Tab, you'd have a hard time finding a tablet in South Africa with 4GBs of RAM. Not sure if that's a true requirement, or just a guideline to avoid students ending up with cheap off-brand tablets which don't run the necessary software adequately well.

This one by Huawei looks like a solid choice. Only 3GBs of RAM, but it meets or exceeds all other requirements.

No doubt 3GBs of RAM will be more than enough to be up to the task.... The Octa-core processor is a big plus also.

Also think the 4GB is rediculous.

Attached is the phamplet they were given.

Even a R6000 Samsung Tablet doesn't come with 4GBs of RAM, it's either a typo, or they don't know what they're talking about.

In most cases, 2GBs should be fine with a memory cleaner app. 3GBs should be more than fine. Not sure why Huawei isn't listed as a Tier 1 device though. I'd say it's a step above Acer and LG at the very least.
