I can just imagine getting my hands on something like this ... improved coding skills along with quantum physics and loads of
other studies .. sigh ... if only .... so much for ... Wow, I know Jiu-Jitsu! in my life time!!! but hey here's to hope ;)

lol wouldnt it be funny if we needed to update our own brain every few weeks cause our DB isnt up to date :}

Oh and a question ... can our brains write/overwrite data to this "data store" if not how does it update with our
own experiences, and how does the brain interface with the chipset? is it bi-directional or something like a ROM?

Wow...this is very cool. If it is proved to be safe etc etc...then I would love to have one of these. It would be interesting as to how this would affect how we learn in schools. It is a quick way of getting more information into your memory....but as for understanding that information is a different story I guess. Just because I know the algorithm for calculating how many particles there are in Mars's atmosphere does not mean I understand it or know how to apply it. I wonder how this would work.

Also...would this be able to provide you with video and sound or do you need to purchase the codecs from MS and upload it into your brain before you can watch vids? haha. I would love that! Imagine watching porn! hehe
