It seems i might just have to buy my own bike:o(dad on some me growing up an taking care of myself tip) he was going to buy but changed his mind:confused:

So now im going to get me a scooter since its cheap, and light on fuel but i need you to help me find a reliable one,cheap(R6000:p) which at least drives 120km or more.

Go to www.tbforum.co.za for some hints and tips as well ;)

Don't go for a 50cc scooter, piddly schitte.

Rather go for a 125cc (two stroke for more power).

If you haven't got any motorcycle experience, best recommendation is to go for a training course as the guys will teach you the basic rules of survival.

Also, do get a good new helmet, gloves and safety gear.

Happy hunting!

I've got a scooter for sale if you're interrested:

It's a four stroke though...

Oh, and it's got 2 cylinders...

And erm, it's a 600cc...

Lastly, it's not actually a scooter per se :p :D

If your talking about speed then avoid a scooter. Rather get a 250 Honda but then again you are price sensitive. I have a 170cc bike that cruises only at 90km (but then again the Cape roads are a tad windier and Somerset West to Stellenbosch has some steep uphills).

600cc:eek: Iv never ridden a bike ever and wil you give me for R6000:p

Erm, close to R6000 ;)

It's only R6000 with one teeny tiny little extra zero...

And then erm... another R6000... or two :D

Here's a pic if you wanna see it.

It might just reach 120km/h... in 1st gear :p

Sorry, derailing the thread a bit here, back on topic

SCOOTERS <- Why ride a bike when you can sit on it like a gurl

I have a scooter.. it rocks. We have cars and all of that.. but to get work I use the scooter. Its honestly reduced our fuel bill in half.

Whats is it,Where did you buy it,how much is it and how fast does it go?

I use a KYMCO Peoples S200, which cost 19 grand, ant it maxes out at 110km/h on an slight uphill.
My GF has a little Gomoto 125 @ 8,5 grand and it manages a stimblin 80 km/h.

But, R30 of petrol gets you 150-180 km's travel distance, AWESOME!
