i have been getting good mileage from my 384 line as well.
My ext HDD's are filling up and I am having to delete before I can copy.

Where can I get good (and cheap) ext HDD's (2.5")?

Try Caprica (forerunner to BS Galactica) - there is only 1 eps available now - others will b available from feb onwards.

Yep. that much can be seen in the size of their thread vs. the Screamer one.
 
Another pre-emtive bash post - Neotel's intl link is down, they are aware of it, and are working to resolve.
 
Pre-emptively informing people who would otherwise be bashing screamer for the international slowing/cutting out - Just so people know what's happening.

Rapidshare is awesome, I regularly download 120+GB's per month through them.

If you have the bandwidth, then they are well worth it.

Aand it appears to be back up.

Please allow me to welcome myself to MYBB. I`ve been following these forums for the past two year, finally decided to sign up.

I recived my Screamer account on the 5th of Jan 2010, but have not yet been able to use it. :-(

I`ve spent the past two weeks playing around with my router, trying to get through to their helpdesk I even went to the extent of sending a crappy email (which I do feel bad about) to the entire company!

But nothing! Not even a email or a sms just to say "Chill dude, we are trying our best."

Was it not for this thread, I would still be TOTALLY in the dark as to why I am reciving the worst service I have ever recived in my life!?

But in the light everything I`ve seen here, I dont feel too offended anymore and I am hoping that Howzit or someone might just see this and perhaps do some magic for me.

Congrats -- your 1st post.

2ndly, have you been able to connect via your router with another ISP? Are you entering the u/n and p/w direct in the router or connecting via PPPOE?

Trust me, I`ve been through it. It`s simple problem with my account on their side.

what difference does it make whether u enter direct into the router or via pppoe?
 
I have been following this thread and the mood is getting a bit more positive - so I am going to take the plunge and take a Screamer package - at least for a month. I had one question that I didn't find on the website (tried the helpline and that seems like a futile attempt - calling me back -sure!).

If I join now do I pay a pro-rata amount for the rest of the month (probably), or will I just pay in the middle of the month from this point forward?

Anyway, when I eventually get it I'll give feedback on this thread - taking the 1MB plan on a 4MB line (anyone else here on the 1MB??).

Its mostly for business so a lot of http traffic rather than just downloads, but its my business, so I'm sure I'll have to take it for a spin on some of the good stuff!
