Okay I just clicked on a banner and checked out the website for interest sake:
http://www.screamer.co.za/

Now the website says:
Unlike other ADSL or DSL packages offered by our competitors, our prices already include the monthly Telkom fee of R435.00 (R108.95 line rental & R326.00 ADSL monthly connection) that still has to be added to any other ADSL broadband package costs you’ll find advertised.

And then there prices are:
CAPPED PACKAGES

Choose from any of our value for money packages and select the speed you want your data provisioned at for no extra cost.

Package CAP Includes Cost
40 MB 40 MB 2 @screamer.co.za e-mail addresses R 39.00
500 MB 500 MB 2 @screamer.co.za e-mail addresses R 143.00
1 GB 1 GB 2 @screamer.co.za e-mail addresses R 190.00
Personal/Small Business 3 GB 5 @screamer.co.za e-mail addresses R 420.00
Business 5 GB 10 @screamer.co.za e-mail addresses R 570.00
Professional Business 10 GB 10 @screamer.co.za e-mail addresses R 1,025.00

Now if that is correct it means those prices are really good? Or am I reading something wrong here... Because a 3 GB package with them costs R420... and the Telkom price alone on an ADSL line is R435.00

So you are actually paying -R15 for that package... :P

Hi Slyfly
These packages relate to our WiMAX network which offers speed and perfomance comparable, if not better, than an ADSL connection. The benefit is that our prices you have quoted above for the broadband packages include the cost that you would normally pay for as your monthly ADSL connection fee.

Hi Cyberarmy
You were indeed on our older WiFi network and were one of the first clients to highlight the fact that the WiFi network we bought from GWI was unstable. As promised we completely revamped the WiFi network and if you read the link you have mentioned carefully you will notice that the complaints have now disappeared and we still have a few thousand happy clients on this network.
As far as bad/no service is concerned I have PM'd you your usage figures for November which ,when compared to the package you had (including connection costs, etc), translates to a rate of 5 cents/meg for unshaped bandwidth.:confused:
