The problem is the next step will be to hand you over to debt collectors and then legal proceedings take place.
You don't really want to have your credit record ruined just because of the SABC

No idea. But that is the standard strategy for any company that is collecting debt owed to them. I assume it will be the same for the SABC.
Do they even need to get judgement against you. Can't they just report the debt owing to Transunion and Experian, which will tank your credit record.

The SABC is not a credit lender. Therefore they cannot list you for non-payment.

Just because the SABC says you have been blacklisted doesn't mean it actually happened. Go and check your own credit score on Transunion.
