Ok, I hope that someone will be kind enough to help me:)

I have just bought a Gigabyte 9500GT graphics card. Unfortunely it requires that I use the SDPIF. I have connected it to the graphics card, but unfortunately I cant find where to plug it in on my Asus P5SD2-VM motherboad. I have found the SPDIF pins, but there are 6 of them, I need to plug only 2 in for the graphics card. There are no labels and I need to plug it into the Ground and SDPIF pin.

Can someone please help me, I just need to know where to plug it in.

Thanks, and any help would be appreciated.
Thanks:):o

he is trying to route the spdif from the onboard header of his mb, into the graphics card, so that the audio goes out through the hdmi jack on his graphics card (somethign you have to do if you want hdmi to also carry the audio...most hdmi capable gfx cards have a connector like this)

robtia, you WILL need the mb manual, either find a hardcopy or download it, it will have the pinouts inside so you can figure out which pin to connect which wire to. get it wrong and you fry the gfx card.

We can have this sorted in no time.

I know we are all assuming, that is what he is trying to do, but some people are less tech savvy, and i don't know him, so that's why i ask.

Anyways, make a printscreen of the page with the pin layout, and just point out to robtai where it should be. You can uploud to MBB.

hold the board with ps2 connectors in the top left corner, the fdd connector will be middle bottom, the spdif header is just to the left of the fdd connector.
