Okay, I must admit.

I love this phone. It is as hot as anything.

One question though (and this extends to all pones with this capability), the phone has geotagging. Fine.

Does that mean it has GPS built in? If not, how does it accomplish this?

Also if the above returns as negative, then would one need to use Google Maps and 3G to make use of GPS?

:)

EDIT:

Okay. After thinking for a while, it must accomplish this by means of cellular triangulation. Obviously. So even if does do geotrakking, it will be far less accurate that GPS, but still can do it.

Still, it's a wickedly sexy phone..

I think the C902 needs an external bluetooth GPS module if you want the geotagging to work. But I could be wrong. All that I do know is that it does not have a built in GPS receiver. With Google Maps the best you will have is the network based location feature provided that the phone has JSR support for it.

i used google maps to find my location and it plotted me on the map, so the function works, but it was out a bit, it showed me on the right side of the road yet i was standing on the left. so basicly its not as accurate as a gps, but still nice feature to have.
