Seagate 2TB Low power

I have that Hard Drive and it doesn't impact games much, but I don't recommend buying a 2nd hand Hard drive as it could fail if it has been damaged.

If you can boot up from a flash drive with a Linux OS that has Disk Utility on it (Mint seems good...) you can get drive specs that will give you the data that will enable you to decide on whether the drive is worth buying.

HDD defects can be hidden nicely during refurb process, but problems will come likely again. Disk Utility won't help in such case.

+1 to Rickster don't buy 2nd hand drives!

I have sold plenty of second hand hard drives and I haven't had any comebacks. It all depends on the seller I guess.

I would rather buy a new one for R1178.76 Here than taking a risk and buy a 2nd hand one...

BTW how much is this 2nd hand HD?
