Around a month ago when I baught a 3 TB external HDD I had a thought that it is probably the last HDD I will ever buy. I currently have this 1 month old 3 TB, another 3 TB around 8 months old also external, then a internal 2 TB which is around 3 years old and a 1 TB external which is older than 6 years. I should be good for another 3 - 5 years or so with my current drives and by that time similar sized SSD's should be quite affordable.
