Seal garage floor

you can float it with any colour you want with these epoxy resin coatings from Rescon .very nice product .

What we did was paint bonding liquid on the raw cement / concrete, then lay these:

Very very happy with the result and easy DIY. Will last a lifetime IMO.
We bought from clickfloors direct. No need for adhesive.
I cut the edge pieces to fit using my skil handheld saw.

How does this do with small spills? I will be brewing in the garage and sticky sugar water spills from time to time, easy to clean will it go under the tile?

Hey all its December time for some home projects. So I do the bulk of my home brewing from the garage. The garage floor is "raw" concrete. What do you suggest to use to seal it? Give it that epoxy vibe?

is this what im looking for?

Anyone use this with pics?
Sorry, no pics, but I used that and it has held up OK. A few places did peal after a year or two, but they weren’t huge areas, and they didn’t spread. The last time I visited the property it was still OK. So it’s probably been about 6-7 years.
Worth the money I would say.

I did “wash” the floors with acetone.

Thanks! was wondering how it holds up, I think the clicky tile things might be the way to go. Something unique and def look heavy wearing and like they would work!

The spills stay on top. They're very tight. We mop from time to time.

My cars aircon drips a bit when I park. The next day the puddle is still there to mop up.
Sweet thanks! Just a question how long did it take to install?

Also how long to obtain all goodies once ordered? Assuming online site you linked?

I just laid down PVC Tiles that interlocks. Made a big difference. If I had to do it over, I would go for a different colour:

Edit: And use power tools to cut the tiles. I used the cutter.

What color did you go with and what would you go with? In theory black would make sense but I think that shows dirt very easily likely want a gray?

I tiled my one garage where I do most of my hobbies. I used a good high wear tile and its been really easy to clean. Will probably tile the car garage at one point as well although there you need to be careful that the tiles are not too slippery with wet tires.

I went with black. But it is too dark. I would go with a light gray.

But it is holds up quite well. Dont buy from a hardware store/chain, it is much cheaper direct from rubber manufactorer/supplier. I bought from a place in Paarden Eiland which was roughly 40% lower than Builders Warehouse at the time.

I occassionally dropped tools such as hammers. My washing machine had a issue which flooded the garage.

No issues with the pvc tile. And should it become damaged, it is easy to replace, have not yet replaced one.

And my daughter could help me lay the tiles (I think she was 8 or 9 at the time). She thought it was fun using the mallet to hammer the tiles in. An empty double garage should be a slow day's work. Ear protection for both me and my daughter (which I already owned) as it is surprisingly loud in an empty garage when you hammering it in with a mallet. But she had fun.
