Search for Files On Server

Guys i'm having a problem. The Mac OS X cannot search files on the file server.
Is there a way to force Mac OS X to index the "Public Folder".

The Server is Windows XP.

Any help or advise would be appreciated.

You find a solution? Let us know what you did. As far as i know you can map a network drive and then search using the search in finder. Not 100% sure if that will work for you.
