If I buy a 2nd hand car from a dealership that doesn't have an up to date service history, and I buy an aftermarket warranty from the likes of motorite, mfc, etc

Would the warranty cover me even though before my purchase of the vehicle, it doesn't have a full service history?

Would I just be required to service the vehicle on its service intervals to keep the warranty active?

I would ask the warranty company peeps if that's OK. I nearly got denied a few times when trying to claim because of what appeared to be a faulty service history.

It's highly unlikely that anyone would cover a car that wasn't properly maintained in the past. If we're talking a reasonably new car, I wouldn't buy it either.

With Motorite you will need to have the car serviced at an RMI approved workshop within 30 days of purchase.
