Cheapest secondhand electric cars in South Africa — up to 45% cheaper than new

South Africans who are too impatient for the arrival of more affordable electric vehicles (EVs) can save on some of the models currently available by shopping on the secondhand market.

There is a very healthy appetite for used petrol and diesel cars in South Africa.

No mention of the handful or so of Nissan Leafs that were originally sold before Nissan pulled the plug on them here. I guess the owners are not letting them go.

The Leaf was available second hand on cars.co.za etc but not anymore so why mention something that doesn't come up when searching second hand EV's?

They are available, it’s just maybe one car every few months that is listed and then it gets sold almost immediately

Its been a very very long time years even when I've seen one when I search electric fuel.

The leaf is totally avoid. No cooling on the battery bank, and they fry. Bad design on purpose so they can sell more cars...

The i3 older models have fokol battery, so not worth looking at. I think only the 2021 on has something semi decent and its still kak low.
If you look at the USA the i3's are pennies on the dollar. Here - hahahahah nope pricing.


Out of the ones listed probably the Audi best bet, but its still overpriced.
