Second hand S2

What must I look out for when buying a second hand phone?

How will I know if the phone has not been reported stolen, for instance?
 
I bought one here a while back, and an S1 on BoB.... and actually quite a lot of phones second hand. If you know the person you are dealing with then all is good.
 
If you can get it with the original box (IMEI numbers should match) and the original proof of purchase then you are golden
 
I don't suppose you will be interested in an S1?
 
S2 is pretty nice. Got my S1 for R1500 and then two months later I got an S2 for R2500.

Took a long time for you to finally see the light, but just glad you did.

Otherwise you would still be on your Nokio 5110. :p
 
I still have a 5800 and N79, they are great phones and I'll hang on to them. However currently there is nothing interesting for me in the Nokia range, maybe if they hit it big with Windows 8 I'll consider them again. After I went Android everyone else in my family did too and I'm quite impressed at the build quality of entry level devices like the Galaxy Pocket and Y. Just stay away from the Vodafone Smart 858.

Ah man... does this mean I can't rip on you for being the only person in the world still using a Nokia (and LIKING IT!) anymore? You even seem to be favouring hyundai over slopel these days as well...

Guess you could say I'm less of a fanboi and more of an anti-boy if you know what I mean? I despise anything too mainstream... (VAG, Apple, Intel)

But you can still call me anything you like, I'm everyone's favourite troll :cool:

The S2 actually managed to shut him up. :eek:
 
OK, OK. I got the S2 this morning and coming from a Galaxy Ace, I'm absolutely loving it so far.
