Second hand vehicle advice needed

Don't get suckered by extended warranties. They are a complete con. The chances of you incurring an expensive repair within those 2 years or 60k km are so slim that you are better off saving your cash and paying for any repairs yourself.
+1 to this, i once got an extended warranty and regretted later on as i did not benefit much. If you check their fine print you'll realize they only cover subsets of repairs of which you are unlikely to encounter problems with those parts. Stay away from them , save your money and pay when necessary.

Edit: and don't worry too much, long as you service your car regularly and don't drive like a maniac chances are slim that you'll encounter any major failure

Thanks everyone for the input, I'm feeling a bit more positive about the 7 year old issue. I reckon I'm going to go for it. I'll push for tyres and leave the warranty.

Unless of course I get major negative feedback within the next few hours which will confuse the issue completely..

By the way Tucson drivers, how have you found the fuel consumption? I get company fuel but I can't have a vehicle that is too heavy.

If I don't drive with a lead foot I get about 9 per 100. Not economical driving just not racing.

Get the service history and what is the present KM?If in order i will buy it.
