+1 to this, i once got an extended warranty and regretted later on as i did not benefit much. If you check their fine print you'll realize they only cover subsets of repairs of which you are unlikely to encounter problems with those parts. Stay away from them , save your money and pay when necessary.Don't get suckered by extended warranties. They are a complete con. The chances of you incurring an expensive repair within those 2 years or 60k km are so slim that you are better off saving your cash and paying for any repairs yourself.
Edit: and don't worry too much, long as you service your car regularly and don't drive like a maniac chances are slim that you'll encounter any major failure
