Second Life

I played it for a few months about a year ago, it really is a bandwidth killer!. It doesn't work very well with capped data, and the price of uncapped data does not justify me getting it just for this.

Never played it, but registered for it a few years ago. I read up that there really are some perverted people on there - in order to get a unicorn (as a pet?), you have to have sex with a horse, or something along those lines. It's twisted and sick, IMHO.
 
Some people here are struggling already to have a proper First Life, let alone a second one...

If these ever happens, I might go back to Second Life, had myself a nice vampire character before! :D

As for the perverts, there are some people that run around naked, only really matters if they have the correct "addons" :sick:. Besides no gambling, there were parts of Second Life that were quite bizarre, and others that I enjoyed. Much like First Life, Second Life is what you make of it, I think.

Never heard of the sex with a horse to get a unicorn thing, you could just buy one afaik. But, it could be possible in Second Life.

Unfortunately it's just too data-intensive. It will most likely grow in popularity as our internet prices come down. I'll most likely try it again when we get Neotel next month.
 
it should be called "no life", much the same as WoW should also be called that.
 
me and my friend were planning to set our self as a ISP we had everything worked out,high speed connection,cheap internet,and unlim bandwith that was until the US $ went up and we couldn't waste all the money so it has drawn to a halt,but we are planning so that we can get our routers and rented satelite from the US,so far we have a plan,a friend of mine got some high paying work in the US and is planning to give half he makes to us but in ad he will be a part of our company.EDIT:we havn't thought of a name yet so any suggestions?.EDIT:this turning more into a family thing,everyone in mah fam whant to help.:D
 
I also played it for about two months... but it killed my cap :(

so until bandwidth becomes much cheaper....
 
I have now tried it 4 - 5 times, everytime for about 5 minutes, and then...meh, uninstall, use the free spave for pron
 
When I try it it's also for 5 minutes, but just seeing them buildings loading screams "I'm your cap and I'm flying just like your character!" and I quit.
