Why are people still even considering buying a new PS2? It's 10 year old tech. Why not buy a 14" crt and Voodoo 2 display card while your at it and install that on your Windows 98 Pentium 100MHZ machine.

Just bought myself an IBM AT 4mhz (16mhz on turbo). Got 1096 (meg) ram and 40 meg harddrive. SHWEET

Thought ever crossed your mind that the salesman might be on to something. A new PS2 retail is currently one of the biggest rip-offs around. If you look at how hardware devaluates over time, the PS2 shouldn't cost you no more than R90 brand new. Yet shops still charges R1300+.

You did mention second hand in your OP. I'm just referring to new PS2 which is a rip-off.

Good idea, save your money rather and get a 360 arcade.
