Security concern regarding proxy use

Howdy

So seeing as EA is lame, I needed to be able to access the UK ea store, since the SA one doesnt have what I need.

Now, the only way I found to access the UK store, is through this:

http://proxy.org/cgi_proxies.shtml

Is there a security risk to regards of my credit card number if I purchase something from the store while connecting to it through one of those proxies?

Is there any other way to access the UK store that will be more secure?

If the site (ea store in UK) is using HTTPS or similiar secure ports I doubt there will be any major security issues. No more than going through the normal route.
