Hi there not sure if this is the correct thread or forum even,

A friend and I are looking to try our hands at a Game of Dungeons and Dragons (table top version) we are from Cape Town (Southern Subs) mid 20s and would be greatly appreciated if there are any players that will have the patience to let us join in and have a game.

Why don't you check out Fantasy Grounds? Incredible interface and very active community.

I know this is an old thread, but I'm in the process of setting up a game which will take place every 2 weeks on a weeknight. We'll be based in the Southern suburbs too and the group is almost entirely new players.

I'm firing up a game as well, I'm a very inexperienced DM and I've got 2 players, looking for one or 2 more.

I don't know when the game will start, but It will more than likely be held infrequently (to start) on Sundays.

Requirements:
Age: 29 - 35
Experience: Beginner. (It'd be kinda awkward having a player with 20 years under their belt in a game run by someone with no real experience.)
Location: Game will be run at my home in Diep River. So you need to be able to get to me and get home again.

I'm just starting out, so I don't have a LOT of stuff right now, but hope to be building up what I have slowly. Be prepared to start with a Level 1 character.
 
Hi All

Are there perhaps any players in George that might be interested in also joining a game?
 
if there are DM's who need some hints, I have been playing and GM DnD 3.5 for 15 years. I do not DM often, but I have learned a lot by attending GM workshops.

I have very little experience with 4th ed (I can advise to avoid 4th)
I have only played one campain in 5th ed (but its the same as 3.5 I reccomend it for new players)

and I have never played pathfinder.

if you guys need tips, or have questions about dealing wiht the akward things only the GM knows about feel free to drop me a PM.
I have handled all those akward situations from parties not wanting to form a team, to Paladins not following allighnment.
I have learned how to handle out of game politics

Hi, if anyone in the southern suburbs is interested in getting something started, I are looking for a party to get back into DND - I haven't played in a couple of years due to various circumstances, but I am are eager to dedicate some time to getting back into it and learning the ropes in the new editions. (My father had an ancient box set which I learned to play on)

Sorry to bring up an old thread back up to life again but I have been searching for D&D on the West Rand.. Will be heading up to Battle Wizards in Centurion to chat to some people there and hopefully find some players. Played quite a bit back in high school, would love to get back into it again.

Central City comics in Marlboro has D&D on Tuesday nights I believe

I'm looking for a group as well during the week. I do shift work so won't always be there but we can try. I'm in the Northern suburbs and I'm a brand new newby.
