I can see the benefit in having them in like a huge warehouse, where you constantly need to go up and down, or for security guards to patrol a parking lot.
Other then that, i cant see anybody buying these just for "fun" or to get around.
By the way how much do they cost? I thought i heard they cost about R30k - which i though was a crazy price.
Then its just ridiculous, that much for a small unit like that, you could get one of those motorised scooters for a 10th of the price and it would do the same job. Or am i am mission something?
They have a purpose but in SA... not so much, mainly used by car guards and at some resorts.
Its not just a little motorised unit, it balances itself and to move foward you just gently press down with the front of your foot, use your heel to slow down and stop. It has a throttle on the handle but only used for turning.
