Good day all.
Got a question to you all out there that is running a HD PVR 4 Tuner (Pace) using SatCR OR any one with the same problem.

I was recording Barbarians Rising and Gangland Undercover
Both set to record the series.
Both showed up under Scheduled recoding list.
Both showed up under Series requested list.
Both had the red "R recycle" icon when I navigated to the channel and the shows.

Both worked fine till episodes
4 of Barbarians Rising
2 of Gangland Undercover

all of a sudden it just randomly stopped recording the series.
But here is what more frustrating and confusing.
I cannot record any new series on History channel (as far as I know the only channel). It has the green "R recycle" icon and it does show up Series requested list but never records the series.
I can although MANUALLY set a recording for any show on the channel and it records but not the series.

According to DStv the last firmware update was on the 13th of October 2016.

Signal quality is 100%
Signal strength is 98%

Troubleshooting steps that I have tried and did not work.

Step 1 The standard DStv "one step fix all" guide
Hard reboot the device.
Left it off for 20min and not the 2min recommended by DStv.
Disconnect and reconnect my SatCR cable.

Step 2 The second standard DStv "one step fix all" guide
• Take out the smartcard
• Switch off the decoder from the main plug
• Unscrew the LNB Cables
• Wait for few minutes (Approximately 2-3 minutes) then
• Screw back the LNB cables
• Switch decoder on again
• Insert the smartcard into the decoder

Step 3
Cleared the Series requested list and rebuild list.

Step 4 (out of desperation)
Factory reset the device.

Well, thanks for all the views,
I went to DStv Centurion mall on 31/10/2016 out of frustration.

Thank goodness someone with the same PVR walked in, that allowed us to test the 2 PVRs at the same location and setup the same.

Both resulted in the same problem.

According to DStv Headquarters it's a fault on their side and they are working in resolving the problem.
