my internet went down this morning. Is there any way I can check whether the problem is with Telkom line on my own without calling them?
someone once told me about "flushing DNS" etc but I have no clue what they meant.
If your line isn't syncing then it's bound to be an ADSL fault, the "adsl" light should be off on your router, if the PPPoE connection is down, it could be a temporary problem.
From my experience, if you restart your pc and the problem persists, then I'm pretty sure it's a fault (if you didn't change anything or install any software that could mess with your settings).
