Hello all,

This is a follow up on my post titled "Static routing and Webafrica prepaid" located at http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?t=52541.

To cut a long story short, I would like to know what routers are being used by MyADSLers so I can further develop my tool to work in many different environments (if at all possible).

Please could you reply to this post stating:
1. Router make (e.g DLink)
2. Model Number (e.g DSL-G604T)
3. Firmware version (if available)
4. Your location

Your responses will be greatly appreciated!

Regards
Fausto Di-Trapani

D-Link
DSL-G604T
Firmware Version : V2.00B01T01.EU.20050930
DBN

Vanderbijlpark

1. Router make: Netgear
2. Model Number: DG834G
3. Firmware version: V3.01.25 (ADSL Firmware version: 4.01.02.00)
4. Your location: Pretoria (BNB Exchange)

Router make: Linksys

Netgear; that fancy one with the wifi and ethernet ports built in: too lazy to look up info ;p

Billion
BiPAC 5102
Firmware Version : 2.7.0.23
Bapsfontein

1. Smoothwall Express on old IBM 300GL
2. Smoothwall Express 2 (Fixes 8)
3. Linux Kernel 2.4
4. JHB

It should be straight-foreward enough to do 2 symultaneous PPPOE connections on any linux firewall/router box, such as smoothwall, ipcop, clarkconnect etc.

Router make: Billion
Model Number: myGuard 7202GA (disabled the Trend Micro virus stuff)
Firmware: 1.07
Location: Bellville, Oude Westehoff

dlink
dsl-504t
V1.00B02T02.ZA.20050923
Hermanus

Will this work with the 504t? I believe it also runs on a linux OS. I haven't been able to telnet it but I beleive that this might have something to do with the crappy pre-installed firmware.
