This one is for people thinking of moving somewhere better in South Africa without leaving the country.

This wizard ranks real semigration towns against what actually matters, a well run municipality, affordable housing, closeness to a big-city job market, good private healthcare, reliable water and a nearby airport, then shows the evidence behind each one.

Anyone interested can have a look at here:

Guess I’m not going anywhere then, since my hometown is already the best fit for me then, as it’s #1 on this list, even if I remove climate filters.

Seems I was able to choose correctly for myself years ago already without a tool.

Stellenbosch actually. Not that there is anything wrong with Orania, spent some time there on a recent holiday road trip, and will definitely be staying there again soon. Lovely, clean, functional and safe town. Lots of kids playing safely in the streets - nice shops and restaurants, really pleasant place.

I really don’t understand why a bunch of people taking responsibility for themselves seems to upset so many people.

Oh, Big Orania.

Well, my current town is on my list, but several 'facts' are incorrect from my knowledge of living here for 13 years. Leave it though, we have more than enough "inkommers" as they are called here.
