Send mail from iPad Witt VODACOM 3G

What are the smtp settings? I have tried smtp.VODACOM.co.za but it does not get past the verify. I can send and receive on wifi. This is using self hosted domain mail

Have you tried smtp.vodamail.co.za?

No SSL, no authentication.

To skip the verifying, take out your SIM and from the iPad and try it again.

Vodmail (POP and SMTP) seem to get stuck on the "verify" page. Just leave it for a while (can take up to 5 minutes sometimes) and you'll eventually get a popup asking is it can try without SSL (can't remember the exact wording in the popup). Then allow it to try without SSL and voila
