PHP WEB DEVELOPER/PROGRAMMER
Vacancy available in our Lynnwood office conveniently situated in the East of Pretoria.
REQUIREMENTS:
• We are currently in need of an experienced PHP web developer/programmer who has at least 5 years proven experience in developing on-line applications that interact with SQL databases using php, javascript and jquery. Experience with object orientated programming is a must.
• Minimum 2 years experience on Mobile Application Development: iOS & Android using Phonegap / Sencha Touch / Codename 1 development platforms
• Exposure to Sybase SQL, VMWare, Java and Linux (Gentoo) is
a recommendation but not a requirement.
• The ability to write scripts and interrogate one or more SQL databases.
Delphi, Visual Basic and .net experience may also be an advantage
• Will be able to work unsupervised, independently or as part of a team to
meet tight deadlines..
• Must be able to estimate time to complete a project and keep to and meet
delivery deadlines.
• Develope the programming code from scratch or by adapting existing website
graphics packages and software to meet business requirements.
• Determining any functionality that the site must support and developing PHP
content based on practical approved layout.
• Ability to adapt and pick up new techniques and technology.
• Must be able to stay on top of advancing internet and computer technology and
its effects to the business environment.
• Must be thorough and precise in their work.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Knowledge of international web standards and protocols.
• Remuneration of R180 000 p.a. to R600 000 plus p.a. (Cost to Company) depending
on ability, qualifications and experience.
