Hi all,

so last week or so net was feeling bit lagy ,stuttering ..my wife could watch netflix but now if she watches it i lag out like crazy!tested with Vox and Axxess.

That 2nd hop timing out is nothing to worry about.

look @ ping to router, do ping 192.168.1.254 -t and watch, does it change from <1?

There is only the Seacom outage that comes to mind however you can keep an eye on the SAIX Notice board for maintenance and outage info.

Remember netflix has created a speedtest which tests your speed to their servers and lets you know if there is any throttling or shaping from an iSP. Keep a log of your speeds on the site and compare.

Here is one i did on Vox FPP using google dns.

All seems good tonight ,stable and netflix running on HD with no ping spikes
