Sentech MyWireless first big broadband casualty

hrm... sounds kinda ominous! 'concentrating on wholesale' almost like they are thinking of being/running the gov infraco company
 
... and what happens to their, now redundant (?) spectrum allocation?
 
That is why I maintain, rather stick to the devil you know, than the devil you don't.....If you know who I am referring to!

Careful what you wish for. Telkom is actually quite good technically and their service has improved. It's just their rip-off prices that suck. If we lost them without some other company stepping up to the plate, we'd really be out of options.
 
The reason mywireless died was because it was no longer competitive- when I was looking for a provider 5 years ago, iburst was cheaper and faster- and considering how expensive they are compared to ADSL mywireless stood no chance

was cleaning out some cupboards the other day and found my old sentech doorstop...uh...modem...

pity we can't use the modem for anything else...
