Sentech on track for 2010 HD broadcasts

I watched this World Cup broadcast at MonteCasino on Tuesday.
All I can say is WOW!!
They had a HD cinema projector setup in the Cinema Grande with a live HD feed from Germany. The picture completely filled up the cinema screen. It was possible to see the individual blades of grass on the pitch. When the camera was behind the goal, you could see the fibres making up the goal netting. The quality was better than you usually get from projected films.
Bring on HD broadcasts!!!

Finally my life gets some meaning. Now lets hope my wife and kid can live with me stuck on my coutch for the rest of my life. Yeeehaaa!
