Sweet. Where are you, and what package? What signal strength do you get?
"Sentech Tops" == On top of a Sentech tower, right next to the antenna array...?

All I can say is that Sentech cost me a lot of money...and I hope they get it right for their remaining customers, but I am still bitter about it, because they did not meet the commitments they made. Still bitter...still bitter...still bitter.....ah stup up, you have been stung before, so whats new :)

hehe ... what I found fun is that after the whole debacle last year (around the same time) their user base had dropped from 3000 to less than 1500 ... It's taken them almost a year to fool another 5000 people back onto their network ... Maybe we'll start seeing live on this forum again ...

dont worry, he will be back at work(one of the only sentech employees remaining) around 2pm today and post his 50k/s ;-)

If it wernt for the international pings id be getting my full 128k on EMULE of all things! Its blasting away man!

Ok ... ok ... I'm back bb matt. And no I've not been waiting for the page to load. This is at Citrus Ave. just of Beyers Naude in HoneyDew. Signal: 30% Frequency: 2518 Base: 126 on the 512 package.

You're connecting to Radiokop...looks like you're getting the same connection that noone used to get....before the wheels fell off.

Enjoy it while it lasts.

(I'm a bit cynical about Sentech, and will be until the bite marks heal.)

I've been getting this for a while now. I would say average has been between 380 Kbps 420 Kbps.

I'm on the 256k package and find it very difficult to stay within the 20GB "cap"; Can easily be sitting on 18 - 19GB in just 2 weeks.

In all honesty guys, they (Sentech) do seem to have sorted all their crap out. Speeds are what one would expect, and stability is 99.9% (connection has only dropped twice this year, and it was due to scheduled maintenence on my tower).

No, I'm not a Sentech employee, don't be stupid. I do believe though that they should offer 512k and 1mbit packages, with maybe the 256k being the one for casual surfers and emailers.

Maybe speed is good and connection is stable because Tech and I are the only subscribers left...? :D

P.S. Woodmead tower.

Might be true about we being the only subs, but I really hope that is not the case and that they have just sorted out all the problems.

just remember, using 50k/s is half the sentech backbone, feel honoured ;-)
